- : I have read a couple of messages here about SLiRP being faster and
- : accepting more clients than MLINK, which I use more successfully than I do
- : AmiTCP. But there is only Unix files on Aminet for SLiRP.
-
- SLiRP is the progranm that runs on the UNIX/WindowsNT end...
-
- : Are there Amiga SLiRP files needed? Is there a site with Amiga-specific
- : information about using SLiRP? Or is ti just so simple that I don't even
- : need toworry about it, just "plug and play"? :>
-
- "Pulg and Play" its the Amiga way! ;) At "the other end" you have
- slirp running. At your end, you have AmiTCP with SLIP or CSLIP or PPP.
-
- run amitcp, it then dials the connection, which then runs SLiRP at the
- other end. your machine then talks to the other end as if its a full
- SLIP/PPP connection - WITHOUT the cost usually associated ;)
